Briggs and Riley for luggage of any kind hands down (Tumi for backpacks)
I like Tumi for backpacks. I’m not family with Briggs and Riley though. What makes that your first choice? Why not Tumi suitcase as well?
There's this small company called Samsonite.
Honestly you can't go wrong with them
Briggs and Riley - no question.
And if you have need a repair somewhere they don’t have a local place they’ll overnight you the parts/tools if possible
Rimowa
Meh. Rimowa’s start to look like crap after weekly travel though. B&R for the price/warranty, but Tumis will do a few years of weekly travel before showing age.
Travelpro for sho. Wife and SIL are flight attendants too and swear by it.
Travelpro will never let you down. They are built for frequent travel.
Briggs and Riley.
What are the requirements?
If you don’t want it to break. Zero Halliburton
Jansport from Marshall’s

Bought in Sept 2004 and the trusted travel partner is still going strong. Except the 2 years of Covid the bag’s been traveling every week.
People are looking down at Away but they’re dependable and durable. They don’t look bad either.
I’d recommend any good looking bag from an outlet mall. Most of them last for a long time even if they are off brand
I’ve been happy with my hard shell rolling Hartmann. It’s fairly durable fits most carry-on (except those smaller 3-seat row planes that make you check at the gate) and isn’t so popular that i can find it easily.
And yes, I did get it at Costco.

Level8 is great, best carry on I’ve owned
The lightest I could find. You would be surprised how much these things weigh empty.
