Best healthcare leadership books, or good reads for new consultants?

It’s my first year currently working in a hospital I’m a patient care technician but I’m really trying to work in the mental health side of of the hospital and any advice would be greatly appreciated

I’ve been over my position and have been job hunting for months now but I am getting closer and closer to my due date (due mid July), should I just give up at this point since I’d be on maternity leave for some time?

Would love to hear from those who left law completely and are happy with how things have turned out. I’m currently taking 2 weeks off of my big law job (8 months in, in total been practicing 2 years) and seriously considering resigning when I return with nothing lined up. What segment do you work in? Seems like the typical sales promotion/career path is going from SMB > Mid Market > Enterprise. Is it the same for sales engineers? Are there any benefits to staying downmarket?

Does your company's health plan cover infertility treatment? If so, what is the lifetime cap if any? My company just implemented a cap—admittedly we were lucky before—but this new cap of $30k only covers ~$6k in medical expenses (another ~$23k in prescriptions) which wouldn't even get us through one IVF cycle (extract/implant once).

I just hit my lean fire number but am hesitating to pull the trigger, so was hoping to run it by people smarter than me:

- I have a few rentals that bring in ~$1800/mo cash flow, taxes are negligible, Capex incl.
- My paper assets will bring in ~$1200/mo at 3% draw

- No plans on kids

Hi fishes, What is the leave encashment policy in kgs when someone resigns?

First FET resulted in a biochemical pregnancy and second FET resulted in a blighted ovum. Both times we transferred PGT normal best grade embryos. Has anyone else experienced something similar? The doctor’s are saying that that unforeseen was probably wrong with the embryos both times, but PGT is 97% accurate. We are starting to wonder if it’s something else besides the embryos like an immune system issue or disorder. We did a miscarriage panel and nothing was abnormal. Any advice for FET 3?
