Udemy AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner Practice Exams. For every term I didn’t know I wrote it down and googled it after. They do go through each answer but I found myself just memorizing those questions

I tried this but found it to be very dry.

I used Ben Piper’s study guide. After you buy the book you can access practice exams and flash cards online

Linux academy is pretty exhaustive

What’s the best way to find a job coming out of consulting. I’m in tech consulting and coming up on 2 years now. I got promoted to senior in July. I’m looking to get out ASAP (looking at product or program manager roles). I’ve been applying on LinkedIn but it feels like all my applications are just going into the void. There has to be a better way. Any advice?

How do I get a job as a Mechanical Engineer if I dont have experience?

I couldn’t get an internship while in school. I have a BS in ME and projects from school under my belt. I’ve also passed the FE exam. I’ve been mostly just doing CAD for a company for the last year by creating minimally dimensioned drawings and moving parts around in assemblies. I want to evolve in my career and be doing more. I worked so hard to earn my degree and I feel like I’m not even using it. But who will hire me?

Looking for some guidance or similar experience. I have 3 years of experience in the health care industry (1 year clinical, 2 years admin). I have my MBA with an emphasis in health care admin. I’m struggling to grow my career or find a higher level position. I have applied to various positions within my area and just can’t seem to get an offer. Should I consider changing industries or what can I do to stand out? More certifications? Additional schooling?

I have been at the same company for 8.5 years and I am feeling like it is time to make some moves to put my family in a better financial position.

I have worked up to general manager of a small business. Paid 45,000/year and am working easily 50-55 hours per week. No benefits.

I do not have corporate experience and only have an associate’s degree, so I am a bit lost on where to go next. I know I need to be looking at making a major move, but need some advice on where to go from here.

I am currently on leave after having my baby and received word from my boss/owner of the agency that we are downsizing. He communicated a decrease of my hours from full time to part time upon my return. Does anyone have any advice for how I navigate this change?

Hi everyone!

I’m really looking to break into my first
Salesforce role! Could anyone provide guidance on some Salesforce partners or roles for remote entry level admin/dev roles? I wouldn’t consider myself entry level, but as far as Salesforce goes, I have limited formal experience (with more informal) currently to market myself in that area! I’m pretty confident using it having used other CRMs in the past and going through trailheads. TIA Deloitte EY Accenture Capgemini PwC Salesforce

Hi Fishes
My Android career is in a good shape in India. My parents are considering a marriage alliance with an NRI who is a Civil engineer in Texas. If I move with him by leaving my current job, what are my job prospects in Texas? How long does it usually take to get work visa and how easy/tough is it to get a job there considering I have 6+ years of experience in the field?

Thoughts on ZS SIP (either V&A or S&T) vs. Deloitte (Life Sci Commercialization): both for M roles? Culture? Typical/Max Comp? Upward mobility/trajectory? Potential Concerns? Etc.?Thanks!

Negotiating even before a final offer. Need help. Currently at 161k as a Sr. Consultant and the industry role, while is a perfect job profile for me, is more like a Sr. Analyst / individual contributor role. I was a manager before and move to consulting for more challenge and pay. Industry feels a better fit now since I am considering to start a family. Relocation and sign on bonus maybe in play. Company has filed for IPO so equity might not be at my level.

Feel like I would be taking... Cont.

Currently looking for a job opportunity specific to Talent Acquisition/Recruiting, as I want to get out of the Generalist realm.
From the employers I've recently interviewed with, they average 15-20 reqs at a time.

Any tips for transitioning from slow recruiting (around 4 at a time) in the generalist role to a high number of reqs?
This is the way I want my career to transition but I think it may be a challenging adjustment.
