Booked my tickets to go to India with Lufthansa. Checked baggage allowance SEVERAL times. Now it's taking me to United to check-in and United is only allowing 1 bag to be checked in. Other one apparently is $100. Is there anyway I can fight or salvage this situation?! (We're traveling a party of 4 so I'm looking at extra baggage charges of $400 one way) .

Pre pandemic I was traveling 5 days a week and just used left over per diem on the one night I went out with friends at home. During covid I stayed home.
