Hi, I got an offer letter from Accenture with DOJ 1st of March but my current organization release me on the 4th of march, in that case, what should I need to do as I have already sent a mail to HR to extend my offer letter till 6th of March and she agreed on that. Need some suggestions: My current company is on a layoff spree and 2 rounds are already done and I can foresee another round coming very soon.

While I am trying to switch to other companies, I’m not able to reveal the real reason from my side for the job change, as if I say, it’s because of layoff fears than it’ll reduce my negotiation power.
