C13 in London received 0 bonus. Although manager assured me I’m not the only one receiving 0 bonus and overall comp aka salary increase at 1.57% is still in the high end of the peers. Still feeling deeply insulted as never in my career received 0 bonus not even during covid or the worse year of mass redundant and had worked so hard for the new team. Very disappointed Citi

Say you have an offer for Senior Test Engineer and SDET (not senior).
Compensation is same. Both the companies are good.

Given the narrowing boundaries between testing and dev, which position is better in the long run? I thought it'd be SDET.

Is IB worth the sacrifice of WLB? Obvious pay is really good but are the prestige and pay worth it if you’re planning on only doing it for a couple years?

Currently working at an IRA with great WLB. Honestly I love my job, the firm, and people I work with.

Also doing MBA part time at a T15 school. Thinking about switching to IB but I’ve done my research and I think I would burn out of IB in two years but I might be ok with that for the opportunities after.
