Called British Airways for travel from India to US via London, Heathrow. They said Indian passport holders not allowed to transit via UK as per covid bubble flight rules. Anyone else faced this issue?

Save the headache and book a direct flight.

100% second this

You’ll likely need to transit through another country like UAE

Why’s this an issue if you already haven’t booked? There are some countries under air bubble pact that are not allowed to travel to/from India. Try for Middle East as layover. Else, you can also look at American/ United, they fly to US without any layover.

Yep, you can’t transit through UK.

We recently had the same issue when flying through European based countries to Mumbai. We took no chances and flew direct with United. Air India was an alternate.

I have been searching for a travel card for months. I am a young guy who is looking to take advantage of credit and earn points at the same time. Cap One just released an interesting new premium travel card with a lot of seemingly good perks (Venture X). I also looked at the CSP and the Southwest Priority card. My girlfriends family has Southwest and swear by it, with companion pass being the differentiator. I am in the DMV area and have mostly flown Jet Blue or Southwest. Any thoughts on this?

Planning a trip to Rome and Naples with day trips to Tivoli and Pompeii. Is 1 week enough? I feel like reading through 3/4 day Rome and 2 day Naples itineraries, the trip seems rushed. I have unlimited PTO but my SO is limited in time (but luckily he can work extra hrs and then use less PTO). I would say max we could do is 1.5 weeks but adding on 3-5 more days seems almost too much? Thoughts? For reference, I did Venice-Florence-Rome in a week and it seemed okay but it also wasn’t as planned out

Like percentage wise, with the fact that I’m about 7-10K underpaid compared to other people with the current title?

Community, I’ve been meeting with a lot of people regarding next steps in my career. One of the best pieces of advice I received is to avoid micro-managing executive staff (agency leadership), as it puts downward and unwelcome pressure on people’s managers and ultimately oneself. Based on your experience in the last 2 years are there:
- Agencies you would steer clear from because their leadership micromanages
- Agencies you would recommend because their leadership gives you room to grow

Thx 🙏🏼
