Can anyone give examples of technical questions asked in industry interviews for staff and senior accountant roles? Did anyone luck out and get no technical questions asked?

I got asked what the useful life of an apple tree was. I was interviewing at an agriculture company. I think they were joking...

Honestly, coming from B4 they were not too worried about my technical skills. The most technical it got was asking my comfort level with access

You won't get many technical questions at that level. I just got a job for a technical focused role and a they did was ask about my familiarity with certain things and an example where I had to communicate proper guidance to a client. For senior accountant they assume EY has taught you plenty so it's more about personality fit.
