What level PM roles are you applying for? Personally, I would probably pass in favor of a candidate with a stronger technical background. There also doesn’t seem to be a consistent theme across your projects. The main item that’s interesting is the roadmap you prioritized but there’s no description of how your decisions led to a better outcome vs how others may have prioritized
Is the job experience and all related sections and bullets for the Consulting role that started in 2020? I see another role at the very bottom but it’s confusing because it looks like a continuation of the other sections for the role above. I would separate them out so it’s more clear that it’s two jobs. Either that or combine them into one.
My thought is the whole resume is for this one role. It’s a lot, one whole page for one role. No one will read it. Only use 4-5 bullets per job MAX. What was your impact? Make each bullet quantitative. Write it for the job you want, not the job you have.
Do you have any other experience prior to these roles two roles with EY? Even if they were not paid, if there were transferrable skills that could be applied towards product management, you could use them. Side projects, events, websites, brainstorm and see what you come up with. What problem did you solve for customers and how did you do it.
Hello thanks for reviewing my resume and for all the feedback.
Yes, the resume is for basically 2 positions consultant and senior consultant at EY but I did not specifically mention the positions there. Instead tried to divide the resume in different types of roles I played during the tenure at EY which I thought would be the important sections that would be considered for PM role.
The last section is from internship.
My thought was to first have what my role was in the first section empasizing that I worked with clients and implemented tech products and in the following sections I wanted to show how I did it
i would agree with everyone else in the thread, you need more technical experience; this could be with SaaS platforms, app development or anything along the sort.
Agree, I dont have development experience but experience implementing SaaS tools
