Happy Tuesday! I’m looking to make more connections in HR and was wondering if anyone would like to connect on LinkedIn? I would love to speak to some HR managers or HRBPs that wouldn’t mind sharing your journey/career path with me. My email is helen.alston@yahoo.com and name is Helen Alston on LinkedIn 😊

These days I’d probably do a Scrum or Agile course instead, or better yet find a mentor who can help you implement that way of working. Of course that depends if your workflow/company is ready for that, but in general I don’t think the PMP waterfall style is really relevant anymore other than to have a knowledge of the various project management theories and blending the good/appropriate bits of them to create the workflow you need in reality.
In my opinion PMP is only relevant if you’re looking to go client side at some point since they love those certs and pay appropriately. Agencies like PMP certs in theory but won’t pay enough to make it worth it.
