Thoughts on Wealth Management as an industry? Offered a role to work under a senior FA and eventually take over the book (~$800M AUM and growing). It sounds great, but I am worried about the disruption this industry is facing with Robo advisors and other low cost, DIY options. I'm not good at my tech stack. I've somehow managed to perform all my tasks without any escalation/blunders but that also by some help/googling.
I also managed to switch from an Indian mnc to a reputed company and now also somehow cleared a FAANG interview,but i know I'm not much knowledgeable in my tech .

I often fail at some interviews badly.
Not sure till when I'll be able to carry forward by this and the hard wlb at FAANG companies is giving me a fear.

I feel like I was straight up lied to during the interview process. “lots of opportunities to hit quota”. I’m sitting here with only one demo two months after joining the company. it looks like our team has only two people doing demos, and demos are only happening once every two weeks. At this rate, I don’t think I’ll be even close to hitting OTE. Are there any other companies hiring right now? I’ll have a discussion about my concerns with my manager soon, but there’s too many red flags here.

When I was young I used to love it when government gave freebies. Present day after paying around 5 lakh as income tax it boils my blood when I think that my tax money is used to give free tv, grinder, free bus tickets etc.
