Firstly, just because you had to do engineering like the cattle and sheep of the country, doesn't mean no one is allowed to pursue their passions.
You don't seem to be particularly perturbed that the tax you pay is going to fund the lavish lifestyles of the ministers..
No objections if someone pursues their passion with their dad's money
If you are paying taxes,get anyone of your other family member govt employed. He gets your tax money back home.. I used to be angry for tax deductions ,now I am happy as my bro is govt employed.. Ghar ka paisa ghar mei hee.. :)
It boils even more to think that my tax money is used to fund colleges like JNU where students do PhD in African studies. Seriously?

Lol .Everyone in this country pays tax .Even a small item like soap or shampoo has tax .Even daily wage workers pay tax for every items they use . Moreover tax system is for bringing out the monetary equality among its citizens in its country. What wrong in this country is citizens like you who thinks tax shouldn't be spent on poor people .

I don't have any issues paying high taxes if my hard earn money is getting used for betterment of my country man. I believe no one has any issues who are paying this much of tax. But sadly our hard earn money is going only in Swiss account 😂😂😂😂 my fellow country man are not getting anything. Forget about job generation nowadays they are giving free gifts and breaking the backbone of the country. Education quality is also degrated. Now everyone will get pass

Says a lot about your blood that it boils more for freebies than for blatant corruption and theft by the government (for example, see replies to RTIs enquiring the details of deposits into the PM CARES fund, for which a lot of working citizens had to mandatorily "donate" their salaries)

Well you are able to pay so much tax bcz of the employment opportunities created in IT sector due to same govt. policies. Though I partly agree that it's being wasted in fulfilling Nehru's socialist dreams.
The reason we had to pay so much in tax is because the number of people in formal sectors are few compared to informal sectors. I know many in the informal sector who earn in lakhs per month and pay 0 tax. They are really angry now as IT department is sending notices by looking at transactions in their bank accounts. I heard one guy say " we hate this government, we never used to pay tax".
Bang on.. That's the reason freeloaders are feeling the burn & cursing the govt
