Hi. I would appreciate any advice on this. I have been working in TCS for 3 years in Support domain. I have completed my PGP in Data Science and Business Analytics. I have been trying to get placed in Accenture. I applied last November as a referral to Accenture. However, my resume was rejected. I thought it was because I was not serving notice period and still studying my PGP. However, I have completed my degree now and am looking to switch over. (In comments) Accenture

Think before you speak. When you do speak, do so with conviction. Never use ambiguous statements. Don’t be afraid of saying things like “well because we know x, and we’ve established that i, j, and k have not changed, it MUST be the case that our problem is with y”.
Pull from real world experience where you have true credibility. Don’t be afraid to challenge the interviewer if you disagree with their line of thinking, but do so diplomatically. Don’t use “I think” or “probably”.

Doubling fake it til you make it. Also, interview yourself in front of mirrors. Or video yourself answering interview questions then replay the video and watch for signs of lack of confidence. Plenty of confidence/career coaches out there who specialize in this sort of thing, as well. May be worth the money to work with one.
Thanks all for your insights! Appreciate it ❤️ Any tips on handling pressure testing? I think that is where I fail the most. Thanks!
Go for a run or to the gym earlier in the day! That works for me!

The two biggest detractors are using common filler words like “umm” and speaking too quickly. Watch some TED talk presentations and you will notice that they rarely use filler words and that they control the audience through strategic pauses and talking speed. Imitating this style will resolve your issue.
Same feedback regarding well structured approach to cases but need to be more confident with delivery. I feel this is most relevant in delivery of the math section of the case.
Not fully sure if I need to practise more math to increase underlying confidence in that portion of the case, or if it’s a case of focusing on the soft side - general delivery/confidence/replaying videos. Anyone care to share their approach to boosting performance in math section?
