I recently interviewed for a role at Goldman Sachs and completed all the levels. After the final interview HR sent me a link to fill out the Compensation Questionnaire and requested for related documents. Next day, another HR called me for some clarification and told me that they are going to request for some approvals. Does this mean I can expect an offer letter? If yes, how long will that process take?

Linkedin Jobs are pulled directly from the company's ATS now. It's likely you're seeing 1 of 2 things. 1) The company took the role offline (hired someone, wanted to refresh posting, etc) and then took the same role live again - which Linkedin would interpret as the same role and include original post date and # of applicants 2) You're seeing a targeted Job post based on your background fitting certain skills/location the recruiter put into the promotion - and if say, the role has been open since June, has had multiple applicants, but it remains open because they haven't hired anyone - you're likely to come across job posts that seem older/refreshed with the new promotion feature.
Hundreds of job applications don't mean that a candidate was found. Also, if a company uses free job posts on LinkedIn, LinkedIn pauses them after receiving a certain quantity. Thus, the job gets reposted by the company.
They also may have someone in mind - requirement is to post a job, even if they have a targeted candidate, for 5 days.
The employer or job poster has refreshed the job posting. At one point, they may have had enough candidates, did not find who they wanted, and reposted the role.
Not sure if this has changed but if the company is allotted a certain number of posting because they have a LinkedIn Recruiter license, it expires at 30 days. So they repost. I don't know if a req that is put on hold is then considered a repost.
