Can someone tell me what to expect from a PWC senior associate Insurance Transformation interview? I have my first interview with the manager today

I’m a LCSW, have been working in mental health for 10 years, and have a job that enables HRSA to pay off my student loans. I really want to go back to medical school to be a psychiatrist. I’d like to pay my student loans off before taking on more debt but worry I will be way too old to go back since I already feel way too old at 38 to do it. Has anyone over the age of 35 gone back to med school? What were your challenges? Was it worth it?

Do you think it is ethical to call in sick to sleep if you suffer from insomnia and haven’t slept in two days? I have not taken one sick day this year and two personal days; one was for a funeral one for fun.

Last night, I came to a realization. We are not trying to attract top talent because this job never needed top talent. We just need bodies. Now, we aren’t even trying to attract those anymore. It’s time to accept that I’ll never make partner. I’ll never have adequate staff. I’ll never make enough money to own new cars or take my family to Disney world annually. I’ll always have 6 months per year of 80 hour weeks. This is life. I work this hard so my family can have health insurance.

If your combined income (you and your partner) was $300k pre tax, no debt, hcol city (Los Angeles) petty low overall expenses (not big shoppers, have car and insurance payment of $500/month), and you wanted to save for a house but no rush, how much would you spend total (you + your partner) on rent. Is discussing mental illness still taboo and stigmatized? There is all kinds of attention to it now more than when I was growing up (I’m Gen X) and more awareness but I’m not sure how it actually translates in the workplace. Some of my co-workers talk freely about their anxiety/depression and say that their managers know about it as well. I’m still wary, like ppl will wonder if I can “handle the work” if I am open and honest about it. Are my views just outdated?
