Nothing will help tbh. Just heads down, and deal with it. A lot of us are feeling this way. A sense of impending doom, complete lack of motivation, and burn out..couldn’t care less about work since a month. I can’t imagine living like this for the rest of the year.
I’m really sorry you are feeling this way. It doesn’t have to be that way.
Have you tried taking time off ?
Sort of, I’ve been on the bench for 2 weeks and technically took PTO last week, but I was still feeling the same way. :/
Maybe during your hikes/walks you could carry a notepad and pencil to capture answers to this question:
1. What is the “this” in my question, “How are you all coping with this?”
2. Then ask that part of you that answered the question, “Is that really the thing I am coping with? Or is there something about what you named that is needing something to emerge?”
Spending time with the voices inside your head and asking the same open, curious questions from a place of innocence like a young child learning about the world is a great way to pull apart all of the things that are distracting you or are causing stress. Be sure to write them down in your journal.
Then spend time with each thing that has been itemized in your journal asking yourself, what about this thing desires my attention and what would it like to have happen?
Then ask that part of you that is demanding for that attention or feeling stressed, besides the usual things people have said about “coping” during “this”, what creative things are wanting to emerge that I’m curious about that would cause joy in my life? What is distinct and special about them that gives me joy? How can I fill my life with the joy that comes from the thing that wants to emerge?
You may be surprised at what you find. (Or not.)

I have one for tough times, so I think I’ll reach out to her :)
Be gentle to yourself...there’s a lot going on so allow yourself to feel all of those things. But give yourself a deadline and pick yourself up after wallowing for a bit and get back on it!
I am in the same boat...rolling off my current engagement this week and don't have any energy/motivation to reach out to my network to see what's available. Don't care what and even if I'll get staffed on anything. No energy, can't concentrate for sh*t, even though I've always prided myself on being able to focus on things that mattered. I am sorry I am of no help, but just knowing you are not alone in feeling this way may be somewhat helpful.
Same.. should we start a "wallowing in own sadness club"? I kind of feel better knowing I'm not the only person who feels that way
Just found this thread today, and I can relate so much. How are you coping today? I hope you are all doing better?
