I have recently joined EY SaT group as senior consultant recently in Netherlands. I’m tripple masters in MS economics, MBA and MS business analytics. Have 4 YOE in different industries but no M&A experience specifically. Any ideas what company should be offering me? I’ll be working as expert on commercial due diligence, FDD and valuation teams and doing automation alongside. is it wise to demand higher salary or promotion soon after I have proven that I can work and do it better than most?EY

Yes, negotiating your financial aid scholarships is definitely a thing. If you’ve been accepted to multiple schools, and have not committed yet, you have more leverage. Regardless, write a short letter to the school explaining why having some more aid would help you
I have one acceptance and two waitlists so not too much leverage unfortunately
Well lol, that’s sucks.
Yes, I went from no financial aid to 30k by just pleading my case and explaining why I needed it and why deserved it (accomplishments, test scores etc etc)
Definitely ask; closed mouths don't get fed.
I was just in this position where my school of choice offered me scholaship aid (about 65%). I was able to negotiate by writing a letter explaining why I chose the school/program, emphasize what I bring to the program (experience, past academics, extra-curriculars, etc), what I'll do om my end to proactively alleviate potential loan amount (work study, part time work, external scholarships, etc) and what I would feel comfortable taking out (loan wise) depending on what they offered (I gave them a range). I was about to bring the scholarship support to 90%. The program om in is the only program I chose to apply to but if you have other options (and they have sent their offers), let them know in the letter as well. Hope this helps and good luck!
