Catholic school parent expect grade changes two days before grades close- student didn’t want assistance during the trimester and parents never reached out until now- how have you all seen that handled?

I'm very seriously considering going back to school, specifically for nursing. Are there any adult learners here that can tell me about how to afford school, living expenses and child care? I'm starting to get discouraged at the thought this may not even be a possibility.

My sister is 28, a manager at a retail store, works ridiculous hours & weekends, and generally is unhappy. I suspect depression.
