Wow. McKinsey, which has the biggest public sector presence of the MBB, really hasn't been doing too hot at all in the sector.
Its presence is tiny and it's gotten even smaller. Meanwhile it's bungling whatever opportunities it's getting.

Richard has told our 6000 employees there won’t be layoffs and weekly has been hosting calls with employees from his home expressing his understanding for the challenges and calling staff “hero’s” and “his role models”. The commitment to engagement, clear empathy and recognition has been incredible to see. Also, the agency wide sentiment to “flex, care for loved ones and self first” along with a host of new support services for staff, parenting support groups, access to weekly situation updates and opportunities to Q&A directly with the WHO so that fact based information is readily accessible are all also unique IMO.

Klick has done a lot for their people and has also stated there will be no layoffs during or in the days after CV19 - they’ve created useful jobs for their non billable employees. I heard for instance that their travel team is doing FT education for the children of Klick employees through different age appropriate sessions throughout the day. 😳
Read that Publicis is offering to fly employees to their families if they choose to do that. Aside from the need to shelter in place, this is a nice gesture for folks that need to do it.
