ATL Pride anyone?
Hi, I'm leaving Citi in 2 months. It's hard to make this decision. I have an offer from a small startup. In citi, my previous experience was not considered and was reskilled to different tech which is the reason for change.I don't like to exit citi. As I like the company so much. But considering my current knowledge,I am in the middle of the sea.I am afraid now that the new company's offer would be revoked due to this recession?Or can I take back my resignation in citi before the last working day.Is this wise decision?

I received an email from the HR at Monitor Deloitte that I've cleared the case round and a back to back discussion with partner and director of the team will be scheduled. Been almost 3 days since this email, haven't received asking for availability from the scheduling team. This for a role with their Lifesciences Strategy practice in the UK. How long do they typically take to schedule the final round of discussions? Do they eliminate candidates in this round?

Have you been to an LDS church? You should come with me and my husband and meet other young couples there :)
Thats true! Although it is supportive, not alternative, and we found it deepened our relationship with Christ.
(Always with love…I appreciate your openness)
My fiancé and I go to Forest Hill church! We are a part of an amazing couples group and absolutely love the community of it. Always happy to discuss more ❤️ Good luck!!
Where on the spectrum are you between a traditional service to rock concert?
Been going to elevation church for a couple of years. Before that I grew up in a non denominational church which had bible teachings. I don't see what exactly makes Elevation church a cult other an some over glorifying the Furticks....would appreciate any details I need to be aware of which makes it a cult. The church really benefitted my wife and I during trying times and we've witnessed how it can be a conduit for a word from God for a particular situation. I acknowledge it's more of a "protein shake" church vs a "balanced meal" church when it comes to in depth biblically preaching/ theology and hard to form community due to its sheer size.
My wife and I started going to Warehouse 242 recently. Every one we have met so far has been welcoming, church leadership strives to be transparent and inclusive in how they operate, and although they have quality musicians perform every week it's not overproduced like other churches that turn worship into a concert vibe. They also have several morning and evening group options to plug into with different cadences (weekly, monthly, one-time) but still not a ton of pressure to commit if you have to miss.
Good to know :) I will have to give that a try. I have been looking for a good church and haven't found many places that I am fond of.
Forest Hill is great. Not a cult, which Elevation feels like to me
Yes I have a friend who goes to Forest Hill. Think they have a few locations too
Check out Transformation Church in Fort Mill/ south Charlotte area. Theologically sound, diverse, non denominational.
I think almost any group you join will have married couples but may not necessarily be focused on marriage studies unless that’s what the group decides to study. Hard to tell because the lack of details online. I was in a small group of much older married folks (husband and I are in our 30s) and I loved them all so much but it was hard to connect with 60 year old age range so we started a young adults small group for college age. It’s worth reaching out to someone and asking them for the best group based on your needs.

My wife and I have been at New City Church. We’ve been really happy with the number of church community options. We’ve plugged in to small group studies and even volunteer with the youth group on Sundays.
Another vote for New City
Welcome! Check out Mosaic Church!

Definitely going to check this out this weekend. Thank you for sharing!
Forest Hill is a good one … what type of church are you looking for ?
My friend goes there and really likes it, she said the community is really nice
Hi there! A bit late but have you tried considering Calvary Church in Pineville-Matthews RD? It's great and very family-oriented.
We go to Holy Spirit in Denver if you’re up that way
Central Church is excellent! Check it out
There’s a new Anglican work starting: https://apostlesclt.org/
Center City Church is diverse economically & age: https://www.centercity.church/
I’ve always felt having Church near where you live makes it easy to go more often. Prob easier to form community that way. That being said MPUMC and MP Presby are both big with lots of programs.
Covenant Presbyterian in Dilworth
Lifechurch in South end has phenomenal teaching and preaching and a great community
