CMA or CFA - which one fairs better and has a more positive outlook? Pros vs Cons? The scope and specialization merit of each in you guys' opinion?

I work in ERP finance consulting, and have background in Economics and Financial Modelling. Trying to get a certification under my belt to not only be more marketable in the industry, but also to solidify credentials. Thoughts?

Have an offer to join a fairly new family office investment team in PE buyouts but will be a fairly significant cash pay cut vs what I was making in tech corp dev.
