General rule that I've lived by - all housing should be less than 30% (ideally 25%) of your pre-tax.
But honestly, when I was traveling every week, I spent <10% pre-tax on housing.
It's usually 1/3 of gross income monthly, so you're good. I personally live in a high cost area and paying %40 of gross monthly income before any utilities. If you can cut back on other costs that should be fine. You just need to be careful with your budget
