Company laid off 100+ people a few months ago and found out it was to finance a $15M Salesforce integration where Salesforce brings in a huge team do all the product and dev work. They’re making our roles delivery and project management per Salesforce recommendations. Has anyone else dealt with this type of bullshit? I’m looking for a new job but I’m so pissed off.

I have 4 yrs of exp as full stack developer and my current CTC is 15 lpa and notice period is of 3 months. I got an offer from another firm for 24lpa but they have shared the offer letter of DOJ after 2 months and asked me to negotiate my notice period or look for buyout. What should I do in this case? Should I connect with my current hr to negotiate? Cause I tried convincing the new hr to share the offer letter of DOJ after 3 months but she is not in the favour of that.

A colleague told me today that Google separates Product Manager and Product Owner as two separate roles. I believe that one PM role is preferred in the industry and most modern software companies, especially FAANG companies, only have PMs. Just curious what others have experienced and if I'm correct in my assumption.

I work at a start up and aside from using tools such as Jira, confluence, figma, and lucid chart I find myself still using PowerPoint a lot of the time. It’s probably the ex consultant in me but is that strange?

I’ve been working as an APM at my current company for 1yr, and have basically been doing the work of a full blown PM the entire time. I’ve lead several features from start to finish and made sure to mention in my resume that I have been doing everything a regular PM does.
