Deloitte M2 advisory salary in SF?
Hi Fishes,
I am at a career standpoint where i am really confused what to do.
I have 4+ yoe in RPA .I really dont think its sustainable as a career .I am willing to learn and move into something different.
But what i am really confused is how would i manage to switch jobs without any prior experience?
I already earn 13-15 lpa,why would anyone offer me same level of package without experience?
People who do a successful career switch, please share your stories. In need of some motivation

Hello - hope everyone is having a great weekend. I'm looking into risk assurance opportunities at Meta, especially Application Manager, Controls (min 5 YOE) and Manager, Compliance (min 12 YOE). I am a Senior Manager with 9 years of IT risks assurance experience. Does anyone have any thought on which position I should apply? If anyone currently at Meta could share your experience, that would also help. If anyone is open to providing referrals, I could provide my background. Facebook (Meta)

Before last week:
S2, HCOL, no certs, 4YOE - ~$145k TC ($120k base + >20% annual bonus)
As of last week:
M1 (still 4YOE) with my CISA (was a good week haha) - waiting on new promotion comp numbers!
Mentor
Update, new TC as a 1st year Risk Advisory Manager is $170k ($142k base + 20% annual bonus)!
So glad I left RSM…I suggest you take the jump to industry OP. I left a year ago as a 2nd year senior, CISA cert as well, base was going to be 95k, now make 130 TC and less hours and bs
Switched to IT Risk Mgmt, got laid off almost a year in, now back in IT audit but for a F500 internal audit department. No Sox work in the new gig.
You need to include service line and credentials (CPA, EA, masters, JD, or none of that) in order to make the most of this
CPA, Risk Advisory, 4.5 YOE, M1, MCOL, 117K
Risk, 1st year senior, almost 2 years of experience, vhcol, no certs, 108k
Risk Advisory Service Line - CISA
Risk 3rd year seniors associate, making M this year. Currently 120, MCOL
B4 third year manager at 155 base LCOL for reference
CISA, Risk, 5 YOE, M1, HCOL, 120k 🥲
I hate this so much.
Why do you hate this lol
AA, this is not at all about comparing for the sake of comparing. It’s about getting an idea of how much certain positions pay for specific credentials, service lines, and years of experience. I agree that comparing for the hell of it is useless. But competing for KNOWLEDGE, which is why I suggested to be as specific as possible, is actually very useful. It helps you learn the salary ranges of specific positions. This has many great effects - it can help you negotiate, both in your current position or possible new position, or help you take your career in a direction that you otherwise may have known nothing about. Transparency helps all of us
