Completed Infosys interview almost 25 days back post week later completed HR Discussion and after negotiations, HR said will get back within 2 days. Week later had again had manager round, post that it's almost 10 days, no updates, Any idea Infosys will get back or not?

Got offer from Cognizant and Infosys.. Where Cognizant offering more package almost 1.5 Lpa mor, but heard lot of negative review on social media like they don't have good project, no job security, they will make you to work on other tech etc . I went on mutiple round interviews with a firm. HR basically said they wanted a firm commitment after the 3rd round. I told them I was extremely interested and looking forward to seeing what the offer was but I couldn't speak in absolutes.

Then ghosted.

Do i really need to be in the office? I’m in more of specialty group and considered to be a regional resource, only have a couple local engagements and likely won’t get more than that because there is not a lot of work for what i do around here. The leadership has been hinting at wanting everyone to be in the office at least a couple days. I’m okay going in when I’m working on local projects but when I’m not and all of my team is out of state what’s the point?

Curious what everyone’s been seeing from the latest Google algo update? I’ve been noticing smaller, niche sites start to show up more in high value SERPs. My hypothesis was that over the pandemic Google over-showed the large sites like NYTimes, Forbes, CNET, TomsGuide, etc in high value categories to make sure users were getting info from well-trusted sources. Now they’re scaling back and giving the little sites some love. Thoughts???
