I have accepted my sexuality and found peace with the long battle of wanting to be something not what I actually am. On one side I have a lot of pressure around me being gay and trying to get a PR and get out of India, on another side I have a lot financial issues. I’m trying so hard to focus on work and to meet the expected bar for my current role. But the office politics here is toxic and always putting me down. Hello, after doing some research I believe I’m being underpaid. About 4 months ago HR did a market analysis for my role. They bumped my salary for about $2k. I’m a mid-level Executive assistant with 6 years of experience and currently supporting 5 executives at a fortune 50 company. One C level and 4 Vice Presidents. I’m currently making $61,000 with bonus included. Based on my research I should at least be making $71,400. I have a check in with my boss tomorrow and I am asking for a raise.

Plan to go to B-school in 3 years (1 year out of UG now). Long term goal is entrepreneurship. Have offers at a MBB firm for a generalist consultant role and at FAANG for a strategy role. FAANG offer is slightly higher (though both are a 50+% bump on my current comp). Both would have me reset to entry level. Which one should I take?
