How does leveling work for non-tech (non-swe) roles in Google?

Most information online are tech-specific, e.g., entry levels start at L3. Is it different for non-tech? E.g., fresh grads join at L1, 0-2y experience join at l2, etc.

Pricing Strategy vs. Marketing Communications (both in Pharma)? Which role do you guys/gals believe better sets one up for a leadership role in marketing in the future. Comp for both roles are equivalent and I like both specializations equally, so neither comp nor interest is a factor. Is going to a product based firm considered an exit to the industry?

So as a 30ish yo with a government/PE/tech background and CIPM/CIPP… I’m finding privacy work is just much easier and interesting than other kinds, but still pays plenty well.

Is it too late/inadvisable to go to law school to specifically aim for privacy work?

First-year tax staff that started end of Q3, and just had my first year-end performance evaluation meeting. base. I'm being recruited to my old
team as a level 10
Manager with
same base/bonus as now but since it's
a lower level I will cap out within a
year. I always found the legal work
more interesting but limited in career
growth. Not sure what to do.

Hi, weird question for this forum, so I apologize. I’m trying to be creative here and use the tv stand that I have. The issue is that it has an open back so you can see all my tv wires. I can’t hide the wires because my building won’t let me open the wall.
