Bowl Leader
Anything bigger than a startup should be less hours and more stable. Startups are a zoo.
Bowl Leader
True.
Entirely depends. I remember when I was in PA, my managers would make fun of the controllers at our clients and say they didn’t know what it was like to work long hours and their jobs were easy. Well now I’m at a facility and I laugh when I see PA posters assuming going to industry is going to be easier. I would say, go into an industry where the business closes. A plant or a hospital never closes. If it never closes, you’re always “on” in some capacity. It’s just the culture of the company.
In response to others - beware start ups if you want WLB. I worked for one as well. Complete zoo, I almost had a complete mental breakdown after 7 months. I keep scrolling when I see those words. Lol
