I’m confused because I’m from a “wealthy” European country, based on public information I make more than 2x his salary… is it the case that Americans assume everyone dreams about becoming American, regardless of their circumstances? And should i be offended...?

Just starting work with Deloitte at the consultant level (coming out of MPH). Curious about the (1) general/average promotional timeline (2) salary schedule and (3) tips for success. (1) What core competencies need to be demonstrated to make the move to senior consultant? (2) What sort of base salary/bonus bump can you expect year to year?
