Could be a mid age crisis but I hate my job. Multiple big 4, background on corporate tax compliance and provision (~7 years experience) after years of working long hours pivoted into tax consulting/project management. Hours are much better now, pay is good (150k mcol), but the pace and amount of calls is crazy. But you never work enough, SMs and partners work while on PTO, 2 days in the office required. What are my options for similar pay, but maybe less expectations to live to work?

As a fresher and having completed 2 months at DI I feel that there is no growth for me here. Has anyone felt the same?

So, a recruiter gave me feedback that my lack SPHR or SHRM-SCP is causing my resume to be knock out by AI and human recruiters despite my position and work history in Multinationals and being in Technology. They suggested that we put SPHR ( Lapsed). I let it lapse in 2017. What is your opinion? Plus if I were to take another certification - should I take SPHR or SHRM-SCP?

I was interviewed at Accenture and have cleared all the rounds. Got a call from HR asking me for the details and expected CTC. I also uploaded all the documents as advised. I could still see the status in Documents upload for past 1 month. Could someone help on this.

I work in field sales as an IC. My aspirational career path is to end up in people leadership. Recently, an Inside management position opened up that’s been brought to my attention by the hiring director. Question is, is going back Inside the right move to get into started in leadership? Or should I continue down the field path and wait until those field management slots open up?

So after two weeks of waiting (and giving up on the idea of getting the job really), the recruiter got back to me.

They said due to month-end and quarter-end close they were busy and couldn’t get back to me as quickly for a “good update”.

The recruiter said the CFO enjoyed our call, she, the CFO, will call me next week directly to “discuss some final things”.

I’m not from an English speaking country but I am watching a tv show and businessmen walk into a room and instead of greeting eachother, everyone says each person’s first name in lieu of hi, however in my experience working in the states, I haven’t seen anyone do this, it’s always hi or good afternoon or some other greeting first THEN they say their first name. is it also appropriate to omit the greeting?

Accounting advisory big4 or IA at F100. Both senior roles. Roughly same base pay.

Big4 has clear trajectory and interesting work.

F100 has 14% bonus, perm remote, and immediate vesting 401k over 7%.
