How to complete TQ in Accenture
I’m currently working in Citi as an AVP in Mumbai for the past 9 months.. due to personal reasons I wanted to move back to Pune (I have worked in Pune for last 8 years before coming to Citi) so I landed up with an offer from HSBC into Wholesale IT (GCB5).
My current Fixed CTC in Citi is 26.5 excluding PF and Retrials and HSBC IT has offered me 30.5 for the same and said they cannot increase further as am moving jobs in after 9 months which is too early..

Bain & Company Is anyone else getting their application to Bain & Company pushed backed?
As of yesterday, even though I applied in May, and that while they liked my application, they will not be considering me till early 2023.
This is the second time they pushed back their consideration... 😞

Given Bain’s local staffing model, it will be challenging for me to commute to SF and back. Is it possible to be transferred to the palo alto office/is that office fully functioning or does it mainly serve as a hub for partners and research?

Considering we don’t have the title “Senior Consultant” I doubt it. Plus our review and career development processes have so many hard checks in place to ensure that there’s not inequitable effects (whether deliberate or not) on non-majority colleagues. The whole premise of this post is silly.
Why would there be “hard checks” if there isn’t an underlying issue to be regulated?
Wouldn’t the absence of such an issue make the process you describe unnecessary?
McK 1 is acting very defensive towards someone calling out a real (and internally-recognized problem). McK as a firm, like all other consulting firms, has a huge problem with leadership representation matching entry-level. Overall, the percentage of women partners significantly lags behind the percentage of women associates and this funnel problem is even worse for Asians and Asian Americans (specifically East Asians). Just look at the partner:associate ratio by race and that’s very clear.
I think it’s fair that unconscious bias is still very much a thing to consider
Are you at mckinsey though? Could you be more objective and specific
I don’t know specifics about McKinsey office but Dallas is pretty diverse with huge Asian origin population. So I’m sure McKinsey Dallas has good representation of Asians too.

Hi! I was an experienced hire, can’t speak to campus hire experience. I am happy to chat privately with you about this. My biggest takeaway is that in my personal experience, people went out of their way to value diversity (not for pr, but recognizing diversity of thought comes from diversity of experience and delivers better results). I also fully recognize that in such a large firm there’s no one “experience” of POC, but McKinsey does it far better than a lot of the progressive (including literally Democratic) orgs I’ve worked for before. So not trying to deny anyone’s potential experience, but I only have positive things to say about my personal one. Feel free to dm if you want
