OP is just saying what a lot of people around the world think right now. This administration has made our country- and being a citizen here- something to pity. I’m still hoping we pull out of this democratic death spiral but for anyone who studies history or geopolitics it’s certainly looking like an empire in decline. Fingers crossed more people wake up and we’re able to pull our country back from the brink and re-establish constitutional norms having learned we need stronger legislation and safeguards because relying on decency and shame to mitigate behavior is no longer viable.
A2 nothing I say will matter but you crack me up. As someone with close loved ones who have - and are - serving I assure you I’m very focused and reasonably knowledgeable on what American strength requires. This administration isn’t providing it. Beyond a thoughtless, self motivated foreign policy that puts all Americans at risk - “protecting women and girls”?!? 😂 Where? Here? Dude. Be so for real. Beyond electing a self avowed sexual predator-telling all women they are unsafe - you have the Epstein cover up, the SAVE Act, reversal of Roe…the list goes on. This Christian Nationalism movement is just a white Taliban. Ultimately it’s bad for everyone. It starts with being felt by marginalized communities but it’s ultimately bad for all Americans - even those folks who currently think they’re “in” with this administration. Sigh…go with God. History will judge this time harshly.

This is a weird thing to say lol. As if anyone here expected a non-American to feel any other way? Then to broadcast it in a room full of Americans for what effect?
