Hey everyone! At what stage do you think it would be appropriate to share that I am currently on an H-1B work visa? I got reached out by the CEO regarding an opportunity they are recruiting for. I applied and have made it to the final round of interviews that’s this week. In the application they didn’t ask about sponsorship or anything, and I didn’t want to automatically disqualify myself by telling them before giving my final round presentation. Have an interview with a company I really want to work for tomorrow. My last job I was laid off b/c of an acquisition&recently accepted a job at a diff company b/c I couldnt afford not to. I got this invite shortly after. The place I’m interviewing at the job wouldn’t start til next year. I dont want to seem like a job hopper. Do i tell them I’m at a new role or just not bring it up? A month ago the recruiter said that they are waiting on some approvals and once it is done we will be issuing the offer letter but I haven't heard back any other update since then. Am I getting rejected or is it normal to be on hold without any update for a month at this stage?

One of the things that my ADD coach helped me with was realizing that I wasn’t prioritizing activities that help me feel recharged. Between work and home responsibilities, I was just burnt out and overwhelmed.

So now when I start to get burned out I focus on reducing auditory overwhelm, getting outside, listen to music, get comfortable, read a fun book, etc.

As we’re heading into the weekend, what are some things you do to recharge and give yourself a break?
