You should be looking for a new job
No, that will come off more as "entitlement". You have 2 options...1 work towards a promotion or 2 go to market, get an offer and hope they match. Market research is generally around "new hires" as you have to incent people to leave, start a new network, job responsibilities, and clients
BKD? If you’re in Big4 our boutique you should be looking for 105+
They probably will give you a 4-5% raise next year. That's how it works and that's why you should start looking for other opportunities if you're not happy with compensation
Guarantee they won’t come close to market price. I’d advise looking at another firm
Thanks everyone...I had a feeling I should go to market. I've been on a couple of interviews, and I'm doing an "informal team meeting"/ 2nd interview next week.
@ The Hackett Group 1, most likely I would be promoted but it'll still be a catch-up game. I just don't think they'll be willing to give me a $15-20K raise. So, I'll continue with my job search.
Yeah too low if they wont pay u at the rate that u should be paid at look elsewhere. U deserve the pay
