Is it just PwC AC or all companies that are having tough time in getting projects? I have been on bench for 4 months now. I can't even switch because I forgot the technology that I worked on at PwC. I think I made wrong decision in choosing PwC during campus placements. What should I do now? Its been 1 year already. What kind of companies I can apply to? Can I apply for fresher roles? This is an effective 20% increase only from your tentative fixed salary in May 2023, which in my opinion is low. Best would be to take that May hike in your current company and then look out for a change with 30-50% increase on fixed, so that you effectively cross 22-23 lpa. At Macquarie, you would get a 10% hike mostly in your first year and then you will end up at 21 LPA that too in May 2024 (post completion of 1 year). Whereas if you wait till May 2023 in your current company and then switch you can easily reach 22LPA fixed in 2023 itself.
