Currently doing Advanced Apex Specialist (pre reqs for PD2).

The challenges were simple enough to complete given adequate time. Nothing crazy - felt like normal requirements I'd get at work.

Why do I find this "notoriously difficult" cert to be easy to prepare for, but cannot bring myself to study for something like PAB? I failed it on my first try. I've been attempting to study for it for months, but it's so boring that I can't concentrate.

Has anybody made the jump from agency to Microsoft? Job is in Digital Production working w/ the Cloud/AI team. $ is on par. Requires leaving a full time role (rather quickly) for a 18mo contract. 🤔

Current consultant (boutique) with offers at a large ride sharing company (starts with a U) for Strategy/BizOps and a public company in their data consulting division. Obviously different areas, but the U role is seriously lacking in comp. Anyone else take/consider much lower total comp (~30% lower) to go to strategy/biz ops?

I am an AE moving to a PM role at my agency.

Since I will have the PM title, what is the roadmap for moving to FAANG (or similar) or SaaS digital end to end dev/implementation companies as a Technical PM/Senior PM/Program Manager?

I have 5 YOE in Account Management, 2+ of which are in heavy digital working with Dev, Digital PMs, and client tech/implementation teams.

I've been a government attorney for nearly three years now and have worked in the same office/division since I passed the bar. I've yet to receive a promotion other than two cost of living increases (in sum, a pay increase of 6k over 3 years). I know this is meager, but I'm mostly ok with it, I just want to see some recognition. On the other hand, it's hard for me to imagine negotiating because (given my inexperience), I don't feel I'd be able to do better anywhere else. Any advice?

What does an exit from Salesforce consulting look like? I’m in a technical role leading a small team so my understanding is a technical/solution architect or a development team lead at either Salesforce or an end user like Amazon/Amex.

I have bounced around a couple consulting companies so would prefer not to do it again. Total 4 YOE.
