Currently living in NYC with two of my good friends from university - both of which will likely be moving out of the city when our lease is up next August (we resigned a few months ago). Not sure why, but this made me feel a bit weird and lost, almost maybe like the training wheels are about to come off and I won’t have my close friends anymore, and that I should also be figuring something out. I'm 4 years into my career, currently I work at one of the largest public advisory firms writing research and taking advisory calls with CIOs/CFOs on strategy around IT Cost Optimization, IT/technology finance, benchmarking, budgeting etc. I enjoy the role but fear not being able to do much with this experience.
