It never goes away completely. And comes up in different contexts, with different clients, opposing counsel, etc. Just focus on you. Try to do good work. Ask questions. Be the best lawyer you can be and try not to speculate about what other people might be thinking. Who knows, maybe they’re all just jealous of you…
That's the dream. Lol jk.
Thank you!
Remember that you were selected from a competitive group of applicants. Also, be careful not to be lured into the idolatry of big law. It’s just a law firm. Use the opportunity to grow your skills and network. Most importantly, therapy is a tool and investment in your present and future. It will teach you how to navigate imposter syndrome and other challenges in your workplace and personal relationships. Even if your health insurance doesn’t cover it, treat yourself.

I changed firms after 2 years and then went in-house a year later. I found a good boss and good colleagues where I'm at now. It makes all the difference.
Lots of people feel this way even if they're masking it well. Just do the best you can and learn as much as you can.
Just think of how exhausting overthinking this is. As someone else said, biglaw is just a law firm.
