Hello, I have received an offer from Southwest Airlines as a Associate Technology Analyst with their direct college hire program. Will be graduating in May with a degree in MIS and also have internships experience as a Business Systems analyst intern. The salary compensation started off at 66,500 but was looking for the 75k range and they got back to me saying the best they can do is 68,500. They also have a 401k company match up to 9.3%. Do you think this is a solid offer for this job market?
Anyone know about hike? This month?

Anyone working in sustainability?
I think it’s not doable unfortunately.
Most couples work. 70x2 would be decent income but honestly i wouldn't take the pay cut
70k with a family of three is really tight. If your SO works then it's doable.
Net total 4200 euro a month just not possible?
Amsterdam is expensive. 70k isn’t great for living there. I would keep looking for a better offer. Can I ask why you want to move from the states to Amsterdam? Are you dutch and wanting to move home?
Aah alright, thanks!
Look into tax breaks, most european countries have tax breaks for qualified people coming from abroad, the Netherlands certainly had one. 70k without tax breaks is tight but these initiatives are rather generous in general
70k for senior consultants I assume. May be keep trying and try to get a manager role and you can clear 80k. Amsterdam with 70k for 3 people is rough, rent alone is approx 2k in the city and 1.5k in the outskirts.
I am moving laterally into another type of consulting so I don’t have much leverage to get higher than 70. It would be a great career move and we want to experience Europe. So I’m optimistic but wondering how tough it will be for the next 6-12 months until a raise
