op -I could get a lot more interested on the 25% travel alone. For this kind of excellent situation I could pretend interest for at least a year👍🏻. Besides maybe it gets more interesting as you grow in the job!
That's dope OP! Hope you get it!
I was only mildly curious before, but that really got me. And he kind of laughed when I said I wanted 30% more than my current salary and did that wouldn't be a problem. 😵
Wow. That is amazing. Are you interested in the work?
I highly doubt that's GE. I can't ever see them paying much more if any more than current consultants salary.
Yup. SF home office anyway. Live in East Bay.
Based in California? I think that's required by their labor laws.
@Op, just saw ur response to K2. All good. Great job !
Damn! U in SF?
Yeah OP I feel like consulting in the Bay is a mistake. Also east bay - everyone I know in the area works less and makes more. Wanted to stick around D a bit more just to avoid burning bridges but have some tempting opportunities presenting themselves ATM...
A1 - not 100% but it's a new position and they said I could make it whatever I want it to be
EY1 - wish it were also true for California based consultants. 😪
Are you saying that only applies to travel within the state of CA when you also live there?
GE?
KPMG1 - no but they are California based.
EY1 - I guess for travel in general because most of my travel is out of state. But I wonder with regional mode if Accenture will be forced to pay OT for travel in California, at least for analysts.
@op what are you currently doing at Accenture?
KPMG2 - I do software implementations, specifically database
@OP, what industry and role? Curious
Take it
