Not a very long term player but I invest every 15 days and set aside some money for future. When the markets dip, I buy. It has worked well for me. Bought some ETFs towards the end of day and will buy again on dips.

Long term, the sooner the better, instead of DCA.
A person who fully funds their Roth IRA Jan 1 will do better than the person who does 12 equal contributions the first day of each month.
If you have money then sure. Most of us invest paycheck to paycheck and hence DCA works fine.
