December 2022 visa bulletin today, seems India EB2 retrograde 7-8 month back , now it’s Oct 2011. WTH

Hello , I have accepted an offer from a UK firm , they mentioned that they will provide coc form to me and then I have to apply for a visa (they will reimburse the visa cost)
Is this a norm there ?
Do you guys have any experience with applying for a visa ?

First I’d a manager-level BD role for a startup (but public) company im really excited/energized by. 150k base with 15% bonus and equity. Wife’s L2 EAD finally changed status to “New Card Being Produced”. Took 12 months including RFE, feels good to know her “american dream” is about to start. Today is a damn good day.

Other than citizenship, are there any other benefits of having a baby in the US vs in India? My wife and I may not be settling in the US, depending on what we decide over time. With that in mind, my wife is siding towards having the baby in India. When I checked online, I don’t really see any benefit except for the citizenship. Any inputs appreciated :)
