Decision on google offer: Cracked a google role with a team I REALLY want to work with. Unfortunately it is an L6 role and push for L7 has been fruitless. I am currently a 2nd year AP and most APs of my tenure exit to Google at L7. Plus the comp offered by them is 10-15% below my current comp. Finding myself very conflicted as I am not feeling happy accepting the offer, neither am I feeling happy saying no. I am also feeling extremely checked out at McKinsey (but haven’t officially declared ..

I recently had an initial interview for a technical recruiter position. The guy on the phone stated that this is not a 9-5 job and long hours are expected. I proceed to ask how much PTO is offered and he said that is not recommend within the first 6 months of working and the harder you work the more PTO you receive. From that conversation, I saw instant red flags. Any thoughts?

I’ve done 18 months of internal sustainability work such as building our sustainability practice, initiatives to get B CORP, SBTI, tracked carbon emissions, company campaigns for sustainability awareness, sustainability strategy. I want to move into a sustainability consulting role. Which area of sustainability consulting should I look at? Are there any courses or certifications I should do?
