Hi fishes Will work from home in FIS continue atleast upto Dec 2022? Any idea? FIS Global
I got offer in Bangalore FIS and my husband got an offer with one big company in Hyderabad. Both companies are currently WFH only but in future, I might have to consider moving to Hyderabad. Fis doesn't have office in Hyderabad so I was wondering if I can ask permanent WFH later. I guess I will be put in fis payment solution.
Thanks in advance. Kindly let me know. FIS Global

What’s the Strategy Consultant pay (promotion from Strategy Analyst) at Accenture Strategy in London and NYC? In London, I know the Strategy Analyst pay is severely underpaid (33.5k + 5k = 38.5k 1st and 2nd year, plus performance based bonuses) compared to other strategy houses but interested to see if it balances out at consultant level and if it’s the same issue in NYC.
why is this bowl usually sooo silent ?

Better people? No.
Better delivery? Maybe
Better culture? Definitely not!
I came to EY from Deloitte and I can tell you this with conviction
Most of it is due to Deloitte never separating their consulting practice after the Enron scandal. There’s more maturity in their practices due to longer time in the area. Huge difference in culture for sure.
Deloitte kept its consulting group when everyone was getting rid of theirs. They also acquired Monitor who was going bankrupt, allowing them to get a strong strategy brand behind their work. In consulting where relationships are key and reputation takes years to build they had a big head start on the rest of the Big 4 and Accenture. Accenture being public has it's limitations. One of Deloitte's closest competitor, PwC has also decided to focus on audit rather than consulting as indicated from the sale of it's public sector. Another big factor was Deloitte started pushing their recruiting earlier as well as increasing their MBA compensation and 1 year paid tuition for accepting an offer to be almost as good as MBB. This made them a easier choice for MBA graduates and over time its perception was better than it's competitors.
I think our culture gets bashed on FB much more than it deserves — and I think our worst voices seem to be loudest on this platform. I’ve had a great experience with the vast majority of the people here and have had a ton of support from the firm when I’ve needed it. Maybe that’s not consistent across parts of the firm, but who knows? It’s definitely a culture that rewards people for owning their career and driving toward what they want. I like that because it’s given me the flexibility to work on the things I want and pushed me to develop / carve out my own niche
“Formerly Booz & Co” lol anything to keep the Booz name. Wait, so Strategy& is no longer recognized?
ACN1 I think our staring pay is higher than everyone but MBB. 75k + 10k sign on + 2.5 relo+ bonus
The pay at ACN is higher than Big 4 for the first couple years, but bonus and and raises are a lot smaller than Big 4. I believe at the end it equals out.
Only thing that is probably vastly different is the strategy arms of Big 4 where Big 4 pays a lot more. Can someone confirm?
Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think most ppl stay in long enough to really enjoy the pension.
A2 our raises and bonuses are paltry compared to big 4. Especially in the last two years and looks like this coming year too and I'm in a high performing DTE
D1 makes a lot of good points. But PwC hardly has exited consulting. I’d argue it leads Big 4 in management consulting because of Strategy&. Monitor unfortunately has lost a lot of luster with people departing.
Ah, I’d assume their portfolio of work still consists of high end strategic engagements. I’m too old to move but I’d assume a young aspiring strategist would be behooved to join S& out of the options in big4. I may unconsciously be biased since I was in the commercial business pre-2008
Pay is marginal at best and their 401k matching sucks, so I’m curious
Whatever the reason, y’all are usually the largest by revenue
I think we sold our public sector bc it had dirt margins. Advisory is still our golden goose
ACN had better 401 but based on what I've seen on fishbowl our pay is way less compared to big four.
Cut throat culture
@M the pension somewhat compensates for the 401k match, fwiw
Raises at Accenture are smaller the longer u r at level. As you inch closer to the edge of the salary band for the level, the smaller the raise. Once u get promoted, they get higher again and the cycle continues.
Strategy& has seen a mass exodus as well. Also, the name makes them difficult to be taken seriously
Everything that glitters is not gold.
In terms of traditional management/strategy consulting, strategy&, thus pwc, leads the pack of the big4. By the same reason deloitte is up there for its massive MC implementation revenue, Strategy& has much more strategy revenue than Monitor. But I think Deloitte benefits from luster of Monitor because the practices are integrated heavily, whereas S& is separate to pwc like OW is separate from MMC. Over time, D’s recruiting has closed the gap between monitor and D ppl so maybe that helped integration. We can all agree that there’s a large gap between s& and pwc folks in culture and style
BA1 well there's also the identity of "Monitor" still keeping it's name whereas the overly long "Strategy& (part of the PwC network formerly Booz and Co)" is no longer used
