My man is looking for some good referral bonus. Get the resume in guys !

First they fire and now hiring ppl. I would not recommend to consider this firm though I am still here and trying to get out of it. Not at all conducive for laterals. Ppl have their own group and breaking into it is pretty tough. I have seen majority of experience hired leaving last 6 months. Ppl are valued for talking nonsense to the client not for delivering projects.

I agree with D2, as a former Deloitte. I was there 5 years, it was hard to find good tech projects, my 1st ended after 1 year, got into a long running one but only as a jr developer (even if my title was M), tried to find a project where I can me an M, but if you have tech skills, they tend to want you to just be a developer. People do have their own cliques, it is hard to break through, I was at the receiving end of it being favored by a Sr Mgr in 1 project, but saw capable colleagues who didn't have the right personality overlooked.

Maybe I should just apply for a M role instead of waiting for another ~6 years to get promoted into it. 🤣

Are firms willing to negotiate the role with campus hires? I received an offer for a big 4 in risk, which I signed early in September, but just now received another offer in TAS from a different firm. While I much prefer the big 4 firm, I do not want to work in risk anymore. Would a big 4 be willing to change groups? Have you heard of anyone able to do this? I feel kind of bad, but I truly despise the idea of working in risk now. ( My friend who's in the role right now hates it)

If a firm has multiple openings that you’re interested in, is it a good or bad idea to apply to more than one position? I’m a third year interested in retooling from lit to general corp, but they prefer someone with 3+ years of corporate experience. They’re also looking for an M&A with 1+ years, so it may be easier to aim for that, but I’ve heard horror stories re WLB for M&A. Would still try it out tho bc I’m desperate to leave lit, but don’t want to make a faux pas. Any insights appreciated!

So my question is now, does SAC have an in built excel option which would allow users to enter root causes across materials and then SAC refresh this

Is there any advantage to telling a company you are interested in working for in the future where you decided to accept an offer from? Or does it not matter? I accepted an offer a week ago with a great company (Company A) that for this season in my life seems like a great fit and only strengthens what I have to offer company B down the road. Company B just sent me a request for interview and I want to keep the door open with Company B but they were just very late in extending an interview.

Do you recommend we go for a serviced/luxury apartment (e.g. Montaje, 345 Harrison, etc.) or hire a broker to get a “normal” apartment?

Any managed buildings recommendations within our budget? Also, what are some good brokers we could work with?

Thanks!
