Coach
Deloitte. Forget the other - not worth it
Didn’t you know getting into big D is tougher than Harvard?
@M1 It honestly sounds like a bullet point during (summer interns’) orientation to pump the kool aid. Was a summer intern at another Big 4 and it went something along the line of “you are special. We have so many applicants and you were chosen.”
It depends on where in either practice and what you (want to) do. Some bad corners and brights spots in both. But love all the overgeneralizations.
i’ve been in ddv for quite a while, i’ve had some horrible moments and some great ones. find the ppl you like to work with and stick with them.
Wow many no’s on DDV. DDV wasn’t my favorite place unfortunately.
There was very little WLB, I found much of the interactions to be condescending, at times downright disrespectful, and poor planning with timing of work. Deal speed is a real thing and get that; however, much of the work is repeatable and could get a head start on. There is also little training which would go a long way with As and SAs and people do not spend the time and they end of leaving within the first two years.
If you go to DDV make sure you have sponsorship and insist on training. Also speak up for yourself early and do not tolerate bad behavior.
Deloitte. Not DDV for sure (ex- DDV) here
Take the one with the highest comp. if equal, then deloitte
DDV here. Don't come here unless you hate yourself
i’m in DDV, how do the offers look?
