Is SAP labs going to extend wfh post June? Or in hybrid model can we choose to work 1 week in a month in office and rest wfh. Basically I live in a different city(chennai - in laws home) and got an offer from SAP Bangalore(parents home) . I can travel once a month to work in office and stay rest of the month in chennai. Is it feasible to do this?SAP

Obviously both for membership, but in terms of prioritizing? Depends on your main city pairs. Personally I go Delta over AA any day of the week - I don’t think AA and UA come anywhere near the Delta in flight experience (regardless of class), and the continued roll out of transcon Delta one service has been great. Only downside is that sky miles aren’t terribly valuable
American because 1) delta miles sucks, and 2) SkyTeam alliance sucks.
I go with American and am Executive Platinum, I stay with American especially because I like the Oneworld partners a whole lot more when I’m flying international business and first class.
Delta for sure
An airline credit card won’t help much in helping you upgrade your status OP. American card will give you like 10k EQMs after $25k spend or something and the Delta card gives you some EQD spend waiver if you spend an exorbitant amount. So in the end, most likely, picking up either of these cards will practically do nothing to help increase your status.
Thanks everyone! I guess I want to see if SkyMiles card or AAdvantage MasterCard is better. If AA has better international flight then I’d pick it!
If you don’t travel much, Delta SkyMiles never expire but AA miles do if there’s no activity for more than 18 months.
I’m not a huge fan of either card. If you spend heavily on travel and want travel benefits out of a card I would get a chase sapphire reserve or platinum amex
I already have chase sapphire reserve 😅 I just want an airline one to quickly upgrade my status 👌
^agreed - cards won’t do much at all for status. Your best bet is looking into accelerated status programs offered to your firm - Delta usually has a pretty good offer to EY (would assume the others have similar) that you can parlay into base level status across the major alliances via status matches (although it’s a one time opportunity and you’ll need to actually qualify going forward).
You should contact AA to enter a status challenge.
If you book an economy flight on AA with points, are you still eligible for upgrades?
