Did anyone recently pass CISM? I’ve been studying and using the QAE. I went through it the first time getting above 70. The second time I am getting 80+ % in the overall domains but some sections have challenging and odd questions where I would have a lower percentage for that group of questions, in the 70 %.

Would the exam have a mix of easy and hard questions? Are the topics and points in the QAE the same on the exam? Any surprise topics on the exam you didn’t see before?

After getting released from my project I joined new project desperately. In interview client as well as D project manager mentioned all the technologies I have previously worked on will be there.
But now after getting whole project idea I think they have lied to me and this is very old legacy system support project.
How should I ask for release without impacting my career.

What’s a good taxonomy for defining requirements for logging & monitoring? (i.e., apps, db, infra, etc.)

I’m a woman in my mid 20s and constantly face situations where people outside of cyber (still within the company) that I’m dealing with (older men in particular) who always push back against my cyber/technical recommendations even with managers cc’d. I studied, earned certs, and worked hard to get to where I am. Is it bc of my gender and age? In all honesty, I’ve written recommendations that male counterparts voiced in the past that had ZERO pushbacks.

Wonder if anyone can offer advice on which cert to pursue next? I obtained my CompTIA Security+ last year and wondering if I should go for the CySA+ or Pentest+ next. I also have my AWS CCP and will be sitting for the Solutions Architect soon as well. Currently not doing security stuff at work but would love to keep my skills going.
