How difficult is it to juggle a remote role with a hybrid role?

My current role is hybrid with at least two days a week in office. However, with the potential economic downturn, I'm considering holding on to the role to supplement my income.

I'm new to the overemployed movement, so I'm evaluating the feasibility of holding onto the hybrid role and the remote position.

I recently interviewed with Natwest and I got confirmation that they wanted to offer a role. Salary negotiations were started. However, now I got an email from the hiring manager that hiring for my role has been paused due to the ongoing cost of living crisis. He expects to resume the hiring for the role in Q1 '23 and would resume the process then. So is it the end? Honestly, I don't expect him to come back. But what do you think?

Anyone out there who left their previous job for a new one have any advice or life experience to share? I’d say I have a great work/life balance but I do know that I could be making 20-30% more and have better benefits if I left.
