Do I need my CPA to jump to FDD? Currently a staff 2 and thinking of applying to KPMG FDD associate position. Audit stinks

Just had an amazing interview at one of the top Japanese banks. Should I not get ahead of myself? Already visualize myself in the role!

I started a job with a restaurant as part time they hired me at a higher wage but after working for one week the other manager came to me telling me that they can’t afford what the other manager and I agreed on so now i have to work at less or I could look for another work options, she meant I should leave otherwise. I recently joined Swiss Re at 30lpa, pretty good manager and work culture. Got a hike of 10% in 3 months without me asking for it. But got an offer from another company which I was interviewing for before joining here and they are offering a base of 45lpa. Now I am unsure how I convey this to my manager coz I want to stay here but at the same time I am salivating over this new offer and wish I get similar numbers here. Is it worth raising a discussion? If yes what would be a subtle way to do so?

Good morning everyone and happy new year, any advice on how to pivot from a career in Accoutning to Tech Project Management (software)? Here's some background, 12YOE in public accounting, recent finished a tech project management bootcamp certification course and will sit for the PSM exam soon. Looking for roles in Associate/Jr PM, Implementation Consultant or BA. Any advice will be appreciated.

Should I stay at a company I know I like culture-wise when my manager said they will try to promote me, but with no guarantee. When do I begin adjusting? It’s been 4 months. I joined as an associate and I feel like sometimes my work is sloppy or I’m overwhelmed. I’ve gotten feedback that I’m making progress but that sounds fake. I’ve also gotten feedback that my work is sometimes sloppy. The last report I helped write had a ton of write ups on it. Feels like I’m about to get fired.
